Coronavirus (Covid-19)
We are all living through worrying times, whether you are worried about your own health, your vulnerable relatives or the survival of your business, everyone is affected by this invisible enemy.
Like everyone we
are monitoring the situation with Covid-19 closely. Working with
businesses from all sectors we understand the devastating impact some of the announced measures
will have on people and their livelihoods. As always we are here to
support our clients and offer advice and support as it is needed – please do
not be afraid to pick up the phone. We are very much all in this together
and want to help where we can.
Further information and clarification on support measures are being released constantly and we are of course keeping as up to date as we can - we want to help you get through this. Ultimately our business depends upon your business, no one is immune.
We have taken all necessary steps to protect and support our team which of course includes increasing our office hygiene further and practicing social distancing as advised by our Government. Our office will remain open during office hours as long as it possibly can. We are no longer taking face to face meetings to protect both our team and our clients, but of course we can still ‘meet’ in many other ways as convenient to you. At times members of our team may work from home, we will endeavor to ensure that this does not impact the service that we provide to you. If our office hours do need to change then details will be posted here.
You are still welcome to come to the office to drop in books and records, please do not be offended if we do not shake hands and keep the recommended distance, this is to protect you and our team so we can continue to offer a normal service for as long as possible. If you have any concerns regarding the delivery of books, records or signed documents then please do speak to us, we are happy to put alternative arrangements in place wherever possible.
If you are have questions with regard to paying your employees, paying your suppliers or meeting your financial liabilities - speak to us, even if that supplier you are struggling to pay is us. Wherever it is possible to do so we will try and work with you.
At times like this it is important that we all take care of our mental health too. Particularly when you are self employed or run your own small business you can feel isolated and lonely - even before you are instructed to self isolate. Please feel free to call us, sometimes a sympathetic ear and someone to discuss the difficult decisions with can make you feel better.
Ultimately we hope that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy.
